S-TECH fork springs are specifically designed for rugged off-road use. They are manufactured to DIN Quality 1 and ISO 9000/2000 standards and are subject to continuous quality control.
Features:
- Made of high-quality chrome-silicon spring steel
- Both ends ground
- Heat-treated and
- Pre-set (-> minimal compression loss)
- Surface-hardened (shot-blasted)
- Very high block strength
- Very low lateral forces with ideal positioning of the force axis relative to the spring axis
- Planar parallelism and exact alignment of the spring ends relative to each other in both loaded and unloaded states
- Very small tolerances: Inner diameter di ± 0.25%, spring rate C ± 2.5%
- Marked with type, spring rate, length, and date of manufacture
