VHM TUNING CRANKSHAFT with VHM Special Connecting Rod Kit
This VHM crankshaft is designed with a higher moment of inertia for improved handling and performance, as well as better balance for reduced vibration.
Youll notice the high quality, as the runout is within 0.01 mm and the crankshaft can be overhauled multiple times without losing strength or stiffness.
In addition, this crankshaft is assembled with a special lightweight connecting rod kit (CRK1502) and must be used with the solid connecting rod journal to ensure the best balance factor for minimal engine vibration.
The connecting rod weighs 19 grams less than the OEM connecting rod and improves throttle response.
When the engine is decelerating, the standard connecting rod deforms into an oval shape by 0.0150.02 mm, while our solid-metal connecting rod deforms by only 0.005 mm (due to the high-strength material). Furthermore, this connecting rod is very well machined, ensuring a smooth surface. This prevents small cracks from forming in the material.
